Current Earth Observation Assessment
Explains the structure and content of EOA 2023, highlighting the ways in which it can provide value to users.
The Agriculture and Forestry SBA includes sectors that provide food and shelter for the Nation and water supplies that impact farmland, rangeland, and forests. Societal benefits accrue from improved short- and long-term decision-making by farmers, ranchers, foresters, rangeland managers, natural resource and watershed managers, and researchers.

The Climate SBA includes the monitoring of the Earth’s climate systems. Societal benefits accrue from timely and effective climate forecasts and assessment information to lead to enhanced resilience in sectors such as water resource management, disaster management (including management of drought, flood, fire and tropical cyclones), agriculture, health, fisheries, and tourism.
